Hello there! Over the last year I have enjoyed making wood signs for different occasions and seasons. Most of the time I use scrap lumber or planks from free pallets, and I use paint, stencils, and vinyl pieces that I already have. There is such satisfaction from making something yourself, not spending any money, and making something useful that you love, and sometimes your family loves, too! : ) The following picture gallery shows different signs I’ve made over the last 12 months. As you can see, it’s fun to create and add a sign in your decor that pertains to a season and/or holiday. Some signs are freehand, some are painted using a stencil, and some are signs with printed-out vinyl letters from my Silhouette Cameo. I think my favorite way is using the Cameo, as the letters are clean and crisp, and you can make them so quickly. I’ll let you be the judge and see what you think. Do you like making things, too? What is your favorite part of creating? Do you like using different tools?
