So Spring is upon us — Yayyyyyyy! I have been looking forward to it so much this year. I guess because I am a southern girl and I love me some warm weather! Today I’m showing you how I’ve been decorating my kitchen for spring. Let’s get started!
There are several areas in my kitchen where I love to put touches of springy green. First up, is the area next to my stove. For this vignette, I am using a rustic tray with several really cute vintage-inspired items that set the scene in my kitchen.
Some of my favorite things to use in a kitchen display are artichokes. They are just so pretty and green, and they make everything come alive with color.
Of course, it is almost Easter, so I love using little bunnies and rabbits wherever I can. Just makes it seem so festive! Then I gather up my smaller kitchen items, like the mason jar of utensils, cutting board, and this pig plaque.
The pig plaque was actually a hanger, but I took that apart. And, the little chicken wire basket in the front used to be for tiny potted flowers, but I am using it to hold my faux artichoke greenery. So pretty! And, sometimes I like to add my rooster for some farmhouse appeal.
Another thing I like to do is add a little white pitcher with greenery and my napkin holder with plenty of napkins to the center of my stove top in a small tray. It helps to keep things organized and it’s useful too. The fancy “S” above my stove is just a thin piece of plywood that I painted a cream color, and I attached it to the wall with double sided tape. Hasn’t fallen down yet!
I hope I have given you a few ideas for decorating your kitchen. It’s so fun to change things out every season. What are you decorating your kitchen with right now? Are you using trays? Mason jars? Burlap? I’d love any input and ideas you have! Happy Spring!
