user a bit more leverage when opening crates, taking down shelves or removing an old fence. The longer
the leverage, the easier the prying, and this 15" bar is just long enough without adding a lot of weight and
bulk to your hand. Only thing I note about this bar vs. the shorter Stanley bar I currently have is that there
is a stick on note that says do not hammer on the back of the curved claw, which anyone would normally do
to get the bar under a board or nail. Not sure why there is this sticker. Perhaps other users can tell us.
The metal should be strong enough for general hammering, but probably not a sledge hammer.
